About R. Sha’Ron
R. Sha'Ron Wiggins is a Georgia-based author, poet, creative, community advocate, and lifelong storyteller.
Raised in South Georgia, Roddy's work explores identity, belonging, faith, friendship, resilience, and the complicated journey of becoming fully human. His stories are often rooted in small-town life, where the most profound moments are found in ordinary conversations, quiet revelations, and the relationships that shape us.
His debut novella, Rose Petals, introduces readers to the fictional town of Willow Creek and follows Ryan Brooks as he navigates friendship, family expectations, faith, first love, and the search for where he belongs. Through Ryan's story, Roddy invites readers into a world that is deeply personal, emotionally honest, and unmistakably Southern.
Beyond fiction, Roddy's creative work spans poetry, music, visual arts, and community storytelling. Whether writing a novel, crafting a poem, developing a concept album, or building projects that preserve local history and strengthen communities, he is drawn to stories that remind people they are seen, valued, and not alone.
Before becoming a published author, Roddy worked in education, the performing arts, coaching, and community leadership, experiences that continue to influence his writing and his understanding of the human experience.
When he isn't writing, you'll likely find him creating music, developing new literary projects, serving his community, or imagining what comes next for the people of Willow Creek.
Welcome. I'm glad you're here.
